Background
Hua Han Bio-Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited ("Hua Han", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") (Stock Code: 587) is an investment holding company.The Group's principal activities include research, development, production and distribution of a range of herbal-based gynecological medicines, medicinal healthcare products for women and bio-pharmaceutical products.
The Group has 28 production lines that are accredited as Good Manufacturing Practice ("GMP") and 2 professional pharmaceutical sales and marketing companies under the Group are also accredited as Good Service Practice ("GSP") by the State Food and Drug Administration ("SFDA") of the PRC.
The Group's production complexs are located at Xifeng County (息烽縣), Xiuwen County(修文縣) and Jin Yang District (金陽區) in Guiyang City of Guizhou Province, Guilin City of Guangxi Province and Guangzhou City of Guangdong Province, the PRC. The production complex occupies a total gross floor area of approximately 48,503 sq.m..
The production facilities of the production complex located in Xifeng county, Guizhou Province the PRC have a maximum annual capacity of processing and extracting 2,800 tonnes of Chinese raw herbs and of producing 1,050 tonnes of granules, 168 million capsules, 11,000 tonnes of liquid, 10 million vials of parenteral solutions and 1 million vials of lyophilized powder of injection, 86.4 million of capsules (Cephalosporins), 192 tonnes of granules (Cephalosporins), 24 million of suppository, 100 million of tablets, 7.2 tonnes of powders, 12kg of raw medicines (Hydroxycamototecine) and 12kg of raw medicines (Topotecan Hydrochloride), 60 million of liniments, 3,200 tonnes of lotion, 600 tonnes of syrup. De Chang Xiang, our another production complex in Guizhou Province, has total gross floor area of approximately 80,000 sq.m.. The maximum annual production capacity of this complex is 2.5 billion pills, 500 million tablets, 60 tonnes of dispersants, 100.5 tonnes of granules and 300 million capsules, 4.8 million of mixture, 4.32 million bottle of syrup, 4.32 million bottle of aerosol (Foam), 5.04 million bottle of vina, 4.32 million of tinctures and 2.88 million bottle of paste.
Hua Han has an extensive sales and distribution network with representative offices in 29 major provinces and municipalities throughout the PRC. The Group employs over 1,100 professional sales representatives, and its self-owned products cover more than 3,000 hospitals, approximately 70,000 retailing drugstores and 2,000 supermarkets.

Prestigious brand building: With a well-established reputation, the Group aims at further enhancing the positive image of Hua Han as a leading brand of premium quality healthcare products for women.
Legendary products: Anticipating consumer demand for healthcare products, the Group will strive to enlarge its product mix through acquisitions, strategic alliances, establishment of R&D platforms and/or formation of a network of healthcare products for women, particularly traditional Chinese medicines and products are unique in market, patent protected, advanced technology and great market potential. Meanwhile, we aim to bring 3 to 5 new pharmaceutical products and over 10 medicinal healthcare products to the market annually, which would increase the momentum for further development of some major healthcare products for women.
Nationwide sales and distribution network: In regarding the distribution strategy of pharmaceutical products through the establishment and acquisition of pharmaceutical distribution companies, the Group has established an unrivalled marketing network by integrating points of sales and market coverage and has built up an extensive sales and distribution network of pharmaceutical products at a regional level, which connects hospitals throughout the PRC and extends the OTC marketing network.Such effective sales and distribution channels strengthen our strategies in relation to brand building and product diversification.
In regarding the distribution strategy of medicinal healthcare products, through the distribution of products through famous national retail channels, the products are promptly entered into medium-size and major cities in the PRC.
